Tick-Tock-Tower

This game was created as an Entry for the Beginners Game Jam 2025.

After a Week of extremely hard work, we are more than happy to present our Game:

Tick-Tock-Tower!

About the Game:

You play as a Clock with time travelling capabilities that has to ascend to the top of his tower, while avoiding opportunities to procrascinate on the way there.

You will be able to make use of a full skillset consisting of:

double jumping, wall-jumping, Dashing (to start and redirect momentum) using Jump-Pads and collecting Pickups that replenish your jump, dash and Time-Powers

to get to the next Time-Portal fast!

Our team consists of 5 beginners in the scene:

Sven (Game Development & Environment Art)

Anja (Character Art and Animation & Environment Art)

Bogus (Soundtrack)

Jenny (2D Art)

Flo (Game Design & Level Design)

Controls:

Movement: AD

Slide down Slopes: S 

Jump: Spacebar

Dashing: Double-Tapping a lateral movement key (either A or D)

Time Powers (toggle):

Rewind Time: Q

Stop Time: W

Fast Forward Time: E

Development Notes:

This Project was created in 7 days, and everything you're able to see and hear except the ground textures, some sound effects and a font were created by us in the given timeframe. All the free assets we used are listed down below.

Install Instructions:

Download the .rar, unpack it and start the .exe
